Montessori Time School Teachers:

Our Montessori Certified teachers provide a positive and nurturing environment with individualized attention.  We believe small class sizes enhance the learning experience for our students. 

Miss Rita - Owner/Head Teacher

Miss Rita received her Montessori Certificate for ages 3-6 in 1980 under Mrs. Justus of Spring Valley School in Federal Way, WA.  She owned and ran a small Montessori preschool and daycare in the Covington area for two and a half years in the mid 1980’s.  In March of 1992 she opened Montessori Time School.  When she was not running her own school, she taught at different Montessori schools.

Miss Lisa - Head Teacher

Miss Lisa is originally from Southern California.  In 1991 she received her Early Childhood Certificate in Preschool Teaching from North Orange County Community College, CA.  After moving to WA State in 1993 she worked at the Learning Center in Redmond assisting the preschool Montessori teacher and loved the experience.  In 1995 she joined Montessori Time School and assisted for one year.  She received her Montessori Teaching Certificate for 3-6 year olds from Green River Community College in 1996.

Miss Deanna - Teaching Assistant

Miss Deanna earned her Certificate in Early Childhood Assistant
 Teaching and her Certificate in Early Childhood Education from Green River Community College in 2009.  She is a member of the Stars program, as well as completed several classes in the Montessori Philosophy of teaching.  In addition she has taught art classes to children in her art studio; for many years.  Miss Deanna joined Montessori Time School in 2009.

Miss Connie - Spanish Teacher

Miss Connie is from Mexico and has been in the United States since she was 17 years old. She has a young child of her own, as well as a patient person and has worked with kids before. Miss Connie is very knowledgeable in Spanish and will teach the children with different fun activities to learn the language.  She is passionate about sports; basketball being her favorite.  She joins Montessori Time School in the fall of 2011.

Mr. Jee - Music Teacher

Mr. Jee has a performing career as a pianist and solo vocalist.  His work as a solo pianist and collaborative artist has brought him across the United States and many countries abroad.  Mr. Jee is on the artist roster of Worthy Music Ministries and he supports Corazon de Vida Foundation; an organization that provides food, shelter, and education for thousands of orphans in Tijuana, Mexico.  He has been teaching piano for over 20 years to children as well as adults and he has been working with young children from 3-6 years old; through Musikgarten program for over seven years.  He joined Montessori Time School in 2007.
