Montessori Time has over 17 years providing Preschool and Kindergarten for children ages 3 to 6 years. Montessori Time serves Kent, Renton, Maple Valley, Covington, Auburn, and Federal Way.
Montessori Time provides a stimulating, child-oriented environment that children can explore, touch, and learn without fear. The environment includes activities in Language, Math, Practical Life, Sensorial, Geography, Science, and Art. As well Montessori Time provides music and Spanish enrichment programs. There is no teacher's desk because the teacher is a guide and facilitator, not a director. An understanding parent and teacher is a large part of this child's world. The end result is to encourage life-long learning and reinforce the pleasure of encountering and mastering a new skill or idea.
Our teachers are Montessori Certified with the Kindergarten teacher WA State Certified as well. They provide a positive and nurturing environment with individualized attention. Small class sizes enhance the learning experience.
SCHOOL YEAR 2009-2010
The school year is September - June.
AGES --- 3 - 6 year olds (includes 2 1/2 year olds who turn 3 by Oct. 31)
TIMES --- 9:00 - 11:30 am OR 12:30 - 3:00 pm
REGISTRATION FEE --- $135.00 (non-refundable)
Our 4 Day Program is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday. The tuition is ten payments of $290.00 (includes music & Spanish).
Our 5 Day Program is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday. The tuition is ten payments of $350.00 (includes music and Spanish).
There is a 10% school discount for the 2nd, 3rd, etc. child in the same family. The music and Spanish enrichment programs are especially designed for 3 to 6 year olds and taught by professionals. Each program is one half hour per week during class time.
We ask also that each family contribute ten hours a year by attending parent education nights and helping in such areas as going on field trips, refreshing learning materials like adding a new coat of paint, fall or spring yard clean up, etc. This helps to keep tuition down yet still have an excellent teaching staff and quality learning materials. We have much parent involvement, which results in a great learning community for our children and in friendships that last way into the future.
